nous avions séjourné déjà dans l' hôtel, à plusieurs reprises et l' avons recommandé à des amis: bonne situation par rapport aux principaux monuments, proximité du métro, facilité d' accès à la gare de Lyon.

We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere, just for the experience of doing so.

The Hotel Montpensier is perfectly adequate for a stay in central Paris but guests would be well advised to secure a room away from the street.
There was, however absolutely no noise emanating from within the hotel.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. We greatly appreciated their English language skill.
The closet was a bit small and would not accomodate all of our clothing, but we managed to hang some things in the bathroom.
We would gladly stay at the Hotel Montpensier again provided we could get a room away from the street. Street noise may be a gcommon problem with many hotels in Paris or European cities in general owing to the close proximity of the building's edifice to the street and other obvious factors.
